Biography
Jennifer Cano is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where she earned her degrees in English and English Education in December 2023. She is from Columbus Junction, Iowa. Upon graduation, Jennifer spent a year and a half teaching high school English Language Arts before being awarded a Fulbright grant to teach English in La Rioja, Spain for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Jennifer is currently pursuing a master's degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA). Her experiences in education, both in the classroom and aboard, have shaped her passion for supporting students. She is currently serving as a grad intern in the Office of Student Learning, where she hopes to gain more insight and knowledge for her future career.
Outside of her roles as a grad intern and student, she enjoys reading, coffee shops, road trips and sunsets.
